POSITION OVERVIEW

Salon Cheveux is growing, and we’re looking to add multiple stylists to our team! We’re a busy, well-established salon with a fun, supportive culture where everyone truly gets along and works as a team. This is an employee-based, commissioned stylist position, ideal for stylists who want structure, education, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow in a modern salon environment—without the pressure of booth rental. We offer all hair services, specialize in hand-tied extensions, have a recently established Med Spa, giving our stylists exposure to advanced services and a well-rounded, elevated guest experience. We welcome newer and early-career stylists who are motivated, collaborative, and excited to grow.

 
 
 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments

  • Perform thoughtful consultations that build trust and long-term guest relationships

  • Maintain strong product knowledge and recommend at-home care

  • Stay current with trends, techniques, and ongoing education

  • Collaborate with teammates to create a positive, welcoming salon experience

  • Contribute to a fun, professional, and supportive team culture

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Minnesota cosmetology license

  • Experience preferred, but newer stylists are encouraged to apply

  • Strong communication and guest service skills

  • Team-oriented mindset—we value kindness, respect, and collaboration

  • Passion for learning and staying current in the industry

Experience with Oribe, Aveda, Color Space, and Back of Bottle is a plus, but not required—we provide training.
